Rebecca Harbut, the new UW Extension Fruit Specialist, will be the presenter.

• 11:00am to ????? - Field practice in the orchard

The West Madison Agricultural Research Station is located on the western edge of the city of Madison, approximately 8 miles from the UW-Madison Campus. The 570 acre station is used for research which requires frequent visitation, measurements, sampling, and constant ties with campus laboratory facilities.

NOTE: Participants will have the opportunity to practice on the Station's trees , so dress accordingly.  Bring your own pruning shears, if you have them. In the event of severe weather, please call (800) 722-3120 for an update.  In the event it is cancelled, it will not be rescheduled.

Cost is FREE.   Please email WAGA or call (800) 722-3120 if you plan to attend. Coffee and refreshments will be available.

Directions: The West Madison Research Station is located just west of Hwy 12/14 (West Beltline) on Mineral Point Rd. Take Mineral Point Road past Junction Road.  The station is on the north side of the road.
